Warranty Program Manager for the
Atlanta, GA corporate office.
The
Warranty Program Manager will be responsible for leading and optimizing our warranty management processes, which involves analyzing, developing and updating warranty policies, and ensuring compliance with industry and legal standards. This role requires a blend of strong technical understanding, communication skills, and leadership skills. The role will lead a team of professionals providing top-notch warranty programs to valued customers.
Warranty Program Manager Primary Responsibilities - Develop and manage the warranty programs for all SUV products.
- Define warranty policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, product management, engineering, marketing, customer service, sales management, and legal to ensure seamless warranty processes.
- Train and support sales and customer service teams on warranty policies and procedures.
- Responsible for reviewing & approving contractor Pro+ & warranty applications. Assess the completeness and accuracy of application documents.
- Verify contractor credentials and qualifications, ensure compliance with company standards and requirements, and approve or reject applications based on established criteria.
- Develop contractor vetting policies and define measurable KPIs to evaluate contractor performance annually.
- Develop and manage warranty documents.
- Develop & manage installation requirements and documents that align with warranty program requirements.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to warranty processes and policies.
- Provide regular reports on warranty program performance to senior sales management.
- Continuously improve the warranty program based on customer feedback and industry best practices.
- Develop and execute workmanship warranty programs to ensure program quality and customer satisfaction.
- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue, participation, claims, and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze financial metrics to inform warranty program decisions and strategies.
- Drive revenue growth by optimizing warranty offerings and training programs.
- Collaborate with finance teams to forecast warranty-related expenses and manage budgets.
- Manage introductory stage of product launch in target markets. Analyze conversions, trends, and successes.
- Travel frequently for regional sales meetings, vendor relations, trade shows, customer trips, training, and plant visitation - 25%+ travel, depending on the time of year.
Warranty Program Manager Experience - Warranty Program Management experience a plus five to seven years' (5 - 7) experience in the construction industry is preferred.
Warranty Program Manager Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Strong presentation skills; presentation development, large and small group lead presenter
- Strong organizational and effective time management skills
- Fluent in English (Reading, Writing, Speaking). Spanish speaking a plus.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and government regulations. Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and customers.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Excel and Google/One Drive. Experience on Apple iPad and/or Mac computers and Keynote program a plus.
- Experience with contact management and CRM tools.
- Experience using social media to engage customers and prospects as an effective alternative to traditional customer outreach.
- Establish goals and priorities. Able to take initiative on projects even if not directed.
- Commit to the highest standards of moral and legal conduct.
Warranty Program Manager Education, Licenses & Certifications - A four-year degree from an accredited university is required.
