Starting Salary: $21.00 - $23.00/hr (depending on experience)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Clerk and Picker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks related to the efficient operation of our warehouse, including printing pick lists, verifying bill of lading against customer purchase orders, loading and unloading trucks, receiving incoming goods, putting away inventory, and labeling items accurately. This role is critical in ensuring our inventory is managed accurately and orders are fulfilled promptly.
Essential Duties Responsibilities: Order Fulfillment: • Print and review pick lists for customer orders.
• Accurately pick products from inventory according to pick lists.
• Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
Inventory Management: • Receive and inspect incoming goods for accuracy and damage.
• Verify goods against purchase orders and bill of lading.
• Label incoming goods with appropriate tags and barcodes.
• Put away incoming goods in designated storage areas.
Loading and Unloading: • Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Ensure all items are securely packed and documented during loading.
Quality Control: • Double-check bill of lading versus customer purchase orders for accuracy.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Documentation and Reporting: • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and shipments.
• Complete necessary documentation for shipping and receiving processes.
• Assist in the preparation of inventory reports and other warehouse documentation.
Safety and Compliance: • Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
• Operate warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Education/Experience/Certification/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: • High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting and moving heavy items.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Physical Demands: • May sit, stand, or walk for long durations during the day. View computer screen
• Requires close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
• Regularly required to use hands to finger (typing), handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk/ hear.
• Regular bending, stooping, stretching, twisting, and turning.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions (hot, cold, etc.)
• Use of safety gear and equipment is mandatory
Working Environment: • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, air borne dust/debris, heavy equipment traffic, and slip/trip hazards in the warehouse environment.
