KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Supervisor/Food Safety Compliance.
This is a pivotal role in overseeing warehouse operations on our night shift while leading the efforts to ensure that company has a successful outcome in our yearly audits. The position requires extreme attention to detail and someone that is highly motivated and a self-starter.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Production - Overseeing receiving, stocking, picking, and packing, shipping, inventory management, and documentation. Optimizes efficient layouts, workflows, and utilization of warehouse space. Monitors the safety and security of goods and materials. Implements strong safety polices, and procedures.
Sanitation Oversight -Maintains food safety and warehouse cleanliness in keeping with Standard Operating Procedures. Provides directions to the custodial technician. Keeps inventory of all cleaning products and ensures that supplies are ordered in a timely manner.
Daily/Weekly/Monthly Logs ? Ensures the proper logs and paperwork are done on time and are complete to the proper standards outlined in company HACCP plan, GDP's, and SOP's.
Environmental Testing ? Swabs taken monthly in designated areas of the warehouse, sends to Lab and Logs results.
Trains Staff -Provides proper training and orientation to new department employees. Provides annual Safety and Food Safety training to all employees.
Audits ? Responsible for the successful outcome of annual audits. Ensures all paperwork, logs, SOP's, GDP's, mock recalls, self-audits, and certifications are updated and kept current. Verifies industry standards are being kept current and fall within being HACCP compliant.
Process Development ? Works in tandem with Senior Managers to develop and maintain Sop's/GDP's/ and keep us up to date on USDA and other food safety requirements.
Supervises Warehouse Hourly Staff ? Oversees and supervises Night Warehouse employees to make sure all items are prepared and shipped on time while complying with company policy. Acts as a liaison between workers and management. Reports on warehouse activities and issues.
Maintains Warehouse Safety and Cleanliness ? Audits safety and cleanliness in keeping with the SOP's, HACCP standards and enforces in accordance to company policies.

Job Requirements

Requirements:
A passion for career growth within a growing local company
Computer competency and the ability to learn Microsoft Office
Utilizes a warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource system (ERP), or other system to track and analyze processes and performance.
Forklift training certification to be acquired and other powered equipment.
HACCP Certification (to be obtained within the cycle of training)
High School Diploma or its equivalent
Skills and Abilities:

Able to understand and communicate oral and written directions
Fluency in written and spoken English

Problem Solving Skills
Physically able to continuously stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle, and move/push/pull/lift items weighing up to 70 lbs.
Must be a minimum 21 years old
Valid class C Driver's License

Compensation depends on experience but is typically $55,000-$65,000.
