Warehouse Manager in
Riverside, Ca. Industry: Food Manufacturing
This is a
Full-Time/Direct Hire opportunity.
Compensation: $90,000 - $95,000 Annually + Annual Bonus
Schedule: Monday - Friday + Sat 6AM - 2:30PM + OT (Average Schedule with OT is 6AM - 6PM)
Must be flexible to work OT Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. What We're Looking For:- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in warehouse management or a similar logistics/supply chain role.
- Industry Experience: MUST HAVE food industry experience.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards (FDA, HACCP, BRC, GMP).
- Software: Experience with NetSuite ERP is helpful.
- Leadership: Proven ability to effectively lead, manage, train, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Operational Expertise: Demonstrated experience in inventory control, shipping/receiving coordination, warehouse layout optimization, and quality control processes.
What You'll Do:- Inventory Management: Lead inventory control processes, ensuring accuracy, minimizing discrepancies, and optimizing stock rotation (including FIFO/FEFO methods where applicable).
- Shipping & Receiving: Oversee all incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying accuracy and ensuring timely dispatch to meet customer expectations.
- Warehouse Organization: Design, implement, and maintain an efficient warehouse layout to maximize space utilization and streamline operational workflows.
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, supervise, and motivate warehouse staff; assign tasks effectively and foster a culture of safety and accountability.
- Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality checks to maintain product integrity throughout the storage and handling process.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all relevant safety regulations (including food safety standards like FDA, HACCP, BRC, GMP if applicable) and company policies; conduct regular inspections and maintain a safe working environment.
