The HPS Warehouse Manager will manage the day-to-day warehouse operations through a team of supervisors who oversee the picking, packing, assembly, and shipping functions by embracing technology and creating efficiencies in the HPS warehouse through use of the WMS.


The HPS Warehouse Manager will also be responsible for:

  • Leading, motivating, and supervising staff effectively while delegating tasks, resolving conflicts, and consistently maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Planning and monitoring optimal space utilization and efficient and accurate inventory flow using inventory management software and systems (i.e. WMS, barcode scanners, handheld devices, etc.)
  • Expertly coordinating with logistics providers and trucking companies to resolve problems, ensure optimal freight quotes, and expedite shipments.
  • Guiding warehouse teams through process changes and/or technology implementations.
  • Instilling a quality culture to maintain high standards, improve operational efficiency and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Maintaining knowledge of safety regulations (OSHA/EPA) to ensure a safe working environment
  • Maintaining a focus on continuous improvement through implementation of quality concepts including Kanban, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other process improvement methodologies.
  • Assisting in any facilities oversight and maintenance as required.

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing demand and urgent customer requirements.
  • Skilled in Excel to analyze data, perform analysis, and produce necessary reports for fellow managers and Senior Leaders.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of Warehouse Management experience
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office, with experience in MS Business Dynamics preferred.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening, which includes drug test and background check.
  • Ability to work onsite, 8:30am - 5:00pm EST Monday-Friday.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Must always maintain a professional demeanor and thrive in a demanding environment.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require sponsorship.
