BRIEF DESCRIPTION

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing all warehouse materials and supplies, including ordering, keeping stock and performing routine inventory. Responsibilities also include regular inspections, maintenance and repair of all Company warehouse equipment; inspection, maintenance and ensuring CDOT compliance on all Company vehicles.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain pre determined materials stock as directed by Mitigation and Environmental Project Managers. Orders and receives materials in warehouse. Coordinates material delivery onsite as needed.
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and maintains condition and proper inventory of equipment, consumables, vehicles, and employee PPE and tools
  • Track equipment sent to satellite offices
  • Negotiate competitive pricing on high volume supplies on a 6 month basis
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by monitoring security procedures and protocols.
  • Schedule yearly inspections of security and fire detection systems. Bi-annual fire safety inspection performed by local fire jurisdiction.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with OSHA regulations.
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse with daily inspections of equipment and vehicles, complete damaged equipment form, issues work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
  • Maintains physical condition of the yard by inspecting vehicles & equipment, issuing work orders for maintaining all trash and recycle dumpsters.
  • Maintain daily vehicle inspection records pursuant to DOT, CDOT and all applicable regulations
  • First of every month, determine which vehicles need scheduled maintenance. Schedule vehicles. Maintain a spreadsheet to document maintenance and inspections.
  • Maintain and post vendor list for equipment/material purchasing, and fleet maintenance.
  • Manage predetermined inventory of all field documents including emergency mitigation spec sheets, daily project summaries, moisture tracking logs, diagrams, work authorizations, inventories, and inspection forms.
  • Maintain Safety Data Sheets as required by OSHA. A copy is required for the shop and all fleet vehicles.
  • A working understanding and when applicable, and certification in the following areas:
  • Content processing/deodorization
  • Content storage/handling
  • Water & fire mitigation
  • Microbial remediation
  • Structural board-up and security
  • ACM Abatement
  • Obtain and maintain State of Colorado Asbestos Building Inspector Certification
  • Bio Hazard clean up
  • Participation on BluSky's Emergency On Call Rotation
  • Field management and supervision of temporary labor personnel
  • Obtain IICRC certifications for Fire and Water restoration, odor control
  • Manage and maintain content cleaning and storage areas, vehicle storage, consumables, and equipment storage to highest-level professional standards
  • Assign and sign off on, Personal Protective Equipment to new employees
  • Collect, inventory and sign off on returned company property upon an employees separation.
  • Fit testing yearly for respirators
  • Fit test new employees for respirators
  • Manage BluSky Technician uniforms, and distribution
  • Maintain a culture of a positive work environment, personal development and Teamwork

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2+ years experience in restoration is required
  • Previous supervisory experience required
  • Valid and current driver's license; CDL a plus
  • IICRC accreditations for smoke & odor control, water restoration, and microbial remediation preferred
  • Availability for occasional local and national travel in response to out-of-town projects and/or catastrophic (CAT) emergency response work, potentially for up to several weeks at a time
  • Expected to provide and maintain safety toe steel shank footwear and basic list of personal tools
  • Successfully provide valid and current proof of your eligibility to work in the United States
  • Successfully pass a national criminal background check and motor vehicle report (MVR) background check
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
