Our client a rapidly growing third-party logistics provider in the Merrimack Valley is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead operations in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives on accountability, team development, and delivering results.
You'll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations across a large-scale, multi-client facility. As a working supervisor, you'll lead by example-ensuring safety standards are met, operational goals are achieved, and team performance is consistently high. You'll play a critical role in managing inventory, resolving shipping/receiving issues, and driving continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide a team of warehouse associates to meet daily operational targets.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and client-ready warehouse environment.
- Receive and inspect inbound shipments, verifying accuracy and documenting damages.
- Operate forklifts and other powered equipment.
- Conduct regular floor inspections and performance check-ins with team members.
- Collaborate with customer service and leadership teams to troubleshoot logistics issues.
- Champion best practices and help implement process improvements for shipping, receiving, and inventory.
- Support special projects as directed by leadership.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of warehouse experience, including 1+ year in a supervisory capacity.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must hold valid forklift certifications.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong multitasking, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM (hours may vary depending on business needs)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $65,000-$75,000 annually
