Position Summary The Warehouse Clerk for the Suja Juice Shipping and Receiving department will be responsible for collecting and maintaining documentation generated during the order fulfillment (shipping) and purchase order receipt (receiving) processes. This position will involve a significant amount of data entry and working within a warehouse environment. It is a full-time position with an hourly pay rate to be determined (TBD).
Schedule 2nd shift: Monday-Friday 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Maintain and organize records for the shipping department, including trailer inspections and customer order fulfillment.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Collaborate with other departments to generate various reports, including inventory counts, shipping/receiving logs, and compliance standards upon request.
- The warehouse clerk will be responsible for scheduling carriers, creating shipping pick-tickets, pallet tags, customer ASN's, CHEP pallet reporting, and all data reporting associated with warehouse operations.
- Proficient in navigating through file-sharing programs such as OneDrive and Microsoft Office Excel.
- Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to adapt well to changes in direction and priority in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
- Adhere to SOP, SSOP, GMP, and HACCP guidelines when in the plant.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
Job Qualifications Experience: 1+ year of warehouse experience preferred and experience working in a food manufacturing facility. Proficient in data entry, excellent communication skills, and experience in communicating with vendors, carriers, and other third parties.
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of warehouse management ERP processes and systems. Preferred HACCP knowledge. Solid understanding of computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft products, including Excel. Sufficient knowledge of inventory management processes and systems.
Other Abilities: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify and address problems, and meet deadlines while staying within budget. Capacity to acquire basic knowledge of all products carried in the distribution center. Proficiency in fulfilling the physical requirements of the position and proper use of equipment, including meeting heavy-lifting requirements. Strong teamwork, accuracy, self-motivation, and leadership skills are essential. Basic computer skills are required, and the ability to work independently with moderate supervision. A self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision, motivated with critical attention to detail and deadlines. Adaptability to changes in direction and priority in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Working and Environmental Conditions Capable of performing tasks in fluctuating temperature environments, including freezers and coolers, as well as in unclean, humid, and wet conditions, with temperatures typically around 35 degrees Fahrenheit.
Physical Demands Required to maintain the ability to stand, sit, bend, and lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds with continuous motion.
