Job Summary:

Warehouse Clerk is responsible for the efficient and accurate preparation of orders for shipment, coordination with various teams, and timely communication for deliveries and pick-ups. This role involves managing order documentation, ensuring proper labeling, and communicating order statuses to key stakeholders.

This position is a full-time position working Tuesday through Saturday from 6:00 am to 2:30pm. The position is eligible for overtime, as authorized by supervision.

Essential Functions:
  • Order Prep
    • Allocate Orders by priority throughout the day
    • Print Selection tags / Pick lists
    • Update Pick lists with proper information - pallet counts etc.
    • Break up and fanfold case labels for order selection
    • Review canceled lines on orders / OOS
    • Communicate order shortages to Customer Service for Supplementals
    • Print and prepare add-ons and consolidate to the main order
    • Print all schedules of p-ups from CS and Trans.
  • Driver check-in / Coordination
    • Check-in OTR drivers for delivery or pick-up at the shipping window and notify respective departments
    • Notify driver of proper door assignment.
    • Updates outbound board and Yard and Dock in WMS for proper door assignments
    • Updates Yard and Dock on proper load assignments to carriers / doors
  • Paperwork
    • Collect Pick Tickets as orders are completed verifying Pallet counts etc.
    • Prepare accurate paperwork associated with respective outbound load matching BOL's
    • Generate BOL's and Invoices for all orders
    • Combine BOL, Invoices, packing slip and other relevant documents for orders based on the Paperwork Binder - State requirements / Pallet Labels etc.
    • Send emails, reporting, BOL and invoice to downstream partners.
    • Other misc. Paperwork / order prep / label prep
    • Update Paperwork Requirements when necessary
  • Order Processing
    • Ship and invoice orders appropriately and accurately
    • Update Yard and Dock
    • File signed BOL paperwork appropriately

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education - High school diploma or equivalent relevant experience is required
  • Experience - previous warehouse experience required
  • Specific skills -
    1. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner
    2. Intermediate Microsoft Office Knowledge mainly with Excel, Outlook and Word
    3. Ability to work independently and be proactive
    4. Ability to multitask, and be extremely detailed on all written and verbal communications and documentation
    5. Strong organization and prioritizing skills
    6. Punctual
    7. Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred
