Reports To: Operations Supervisor
SUMMARY Oversees the daily objectives set by the Operations Supervisor and makes sure the department daily work volumes are completed. Contributes to a work team environment and interfaces with employees and customers. Written and verbal communication must be effective.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Additional responsibilities may be assigned.- Must be able to work with vendor web portals to schedule appointments
- Allocates orders to be pulled and staged for shipment
- Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies and perform adjustments if applicable.
- Billing Shipments in TMS environment. Knowledge of each customer requirement is essential for vendor compliance accountability.
- Reviews BOL and Pack list prior to shipment to ensure data integrity is consistent.
- Manages daily /weekly tasks associated with department requirements and customer requests.
- Measures and reports productivity for functional area.
- Works with Operations Supervisor to ensure implementation of new strategies and initiatives to effectively meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Maintains quality by following good manufacturing practices (GMPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and guidelines; complying with legal regulations.
- Enhances department reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES Special Projects Assist in companywide activities associated with the department.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. One year inventory or warehouse work experience preferred. Must have forklift experience. Detail-oriented, highly organized team player.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and correspondence. Must be able to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers via phone or email.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to physically count, add, subtract, multiply and divide.
REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems establishes facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand (duration of the shift) and talk or hear.
