Our client, a major player in the oil & gas industry, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support ongoing operations. This is a long-term contract role offering an opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory through purchasing, receiving, processing, issuing, kitting, labeling, and storage of stock
- Maintain accurate and organized inventory records
- Inspect incoming stock for damage and document accordingly
- Organize and maintain a clean, efficient warehouse space
- Prepare and package orders for shipment
- Log exact arrival and departure times for all shipments
- Utilize stock management equipment such as forklifts, dollies, etc.
- Perform cycle counts and manage inventory using SAP
- Oversee daily warehouse operations
- Handle shipping via UPS and FedEx
- Process and ship hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to meet the physical demands of warehouse work
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification
