WEST DIRECT OIL
Warehouse Associate
Job Summary
This position is responsible for maintaining a warehouse of oil and lubrication products.
Job Functions
Perform pre-production duties, including ongoing maintenance in the warehouse
Pull products to fill delivery orders and process related paperwork
Perform post-production duties
Participate in shipping and receiving products to include accurate verification of products, container size and counts
Participate in monthly inventory counts
Comply with all appropriate safety-related policies and procedures
Complete daily tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Work cooperatively with co-workers and contribute to a cohesive work environment through a spirit of teamwork
Perform all reasonable work-related assignments as requested by supervisor
Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to read, spell, write, and comprehend English at an intermediate level
Must possess excellent customer service skills
Must have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Experience with hazardous materials and lubricants is preferred
Valid driver license is preferred
Must be certified to operate a forklift
Experience in a warehouse setting is preferred
Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions and to deal with problems and situations as they arise
Physical Requirements
Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, stand, and reach above head on a continual basis
Must be able to push, pull in excess of 2000 pounds with the aid of warehouse handling equipment
Must be able to lift in excess of 75 pounds
