About this role:

As a Warehouse Associate II, you must be able to perform efficiently in a warehouse environment by handling incoming and outgoing shipments. Additional responsibilities are pick, pack and shipping, maintaining accurate documentation, quality assurance, exceptional customer support and fulfills customer sales orders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare documentation for domestic and international shipments which includes coordination with freight forwarders. Collect paperwork and prepare items for shipment including the proper application of shipping labels and bills of lading.
  • Transport/staging of product - This position requires use of a forklift
  • Perform quality assurance audits of shipment contents.
  • Prepare shipments utilizing FedEx Ship Manager and UPS Worldship Systems
  • Determine efficient and cost-effective methods of moving goods from one location to another.
  • Create Pro-Formas and Commercial Invoicing for International Shipping.
  • Respond quickly to urgent, customer facing issues.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks
  • Support Timely and Accurate fulfillment shipment of all Customer Orders
  • Prepare shipments for Return to Vendor (RTV) or RMA
  • Provide shipping costs using Freight System
  • Must be able to plan activities effectively and efficiently.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and secure facility

What you bring to our vision:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2-5 year' experience i n a warehouse and or manufacturing environment.
  • 2 Years of Domestic & International Shipping Experience in a Distribution Center Environment
  • Skilled operator of forklifts required and keeps all warehouse equipment in working condition
  • Must be able to fill out Bill of Lading for LTL and TL Shipments
  • Understands how to use FedEx Ship Manager and UPS Worldship Systems
  • Strong computer skills a plus.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and effective organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to climb stair, ladders, and step stools
  • Ability to lift 25-30 lbs routinely
  • Occasionally lift over 50 lbs

Working Conditions: Possible exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles. Possible exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals. Possible risk of electrical shock or explosives. Possible risk of radiation and vibration. The noise level in the work environment usually is moderate. Protective clothing or equipment may be required including gloves, helmets, steel-toed boots, and protective eyewear. The Warehouse environment is susceptible to the outside elements and tends to be warm in the summer and cold in the winter.

The pay range for this role is:
19 - 23 USD per hour(Barron Office)
