Job Overview Provides general administrative support to the Warehouse and Purchasing department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Schedules, coordinates, and completes all administrative work to ensure efficient and effective administrative support for the Purchasing department.
- Coordinates and carries out a wide variety of administrative tasks related to the department Inventory, Transfers, and Invoicing in FoodTrak.
- Interfaces with all operational and support departmental staff in a courteous, appropriate manner.
- Attends meetings as required and is responsible for organizing information from those meetings into accessible files.
- Assists with any areas in Purchasing that may need administrative or operational assistance with items such as scheduling, payroll, operational assistance, employee relations issues, etc.
- Monitors and replenishes office supplies.
- Maintains a professional, pro-active, and pleasant demeanor; must be a team player.
Qualifications - Minimum 2-3 years related experience and/or training in administrative support positions such as a departmental administrative assistant is required.
- Strong computer skills to include effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products such as Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
- Strong written and oral communication skills required.
- Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

The employee may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve issues with extremely irate or difficult guests or staff members. The noise level in the work environment varies from light to moderate.
