Ward Sister/Charge Nurse - F7 Elective Surgery

Ward F7 at the Wythenshawe site of Manchester Foundation Trust is currently looking to recruit a band 6 sister/charge nurse for our elective surgical ward. This exciting opportunity is open to band 5s aspiring to take the next step and learn new skills. Current band 6s and 7s are also welcome to apply and join our welcoming ward on F7 to learn new things about elective surgery. Our surgical directorate is known for the highest standards of clinical care.

The ward currently cares for inpatient elective and emergency patients with a range of Plastics, ENT, Maxillofacial, and Urology cases.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking a suitably experienced nurse who is passionate about patient safety and delivering exceptional quality care to our elective surgical patients. You will be an aspiring leader with a highly accessible and visible approach for patients, relatives, and colleagues. You will assist the Ward Manager with operational management and have the ability to develop a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on the patient journey and clinical outcomes.
