Associate Attorney - Wage and Hour, Plaintiff Class Action

We represent employees and consumers in high-profile federal and state court cases across California, often against regional, national, and Fortune 500 companies across multiple industries. Our team has secured millions of dollars in recovery for thousands of individuals and continues to lead the fight for workers' and consumers' rights.
Position Overview:
This is an outstanding opportunity to build a strong career in plaintiffs' side class action litigation. The ideal candidate will gain extensive experience handling class and representative actions in wage-and-hour, unfair business practices, discrimination, and false advertising matters. Given the firm's robust caseload across the state, we are looking to add skilled associates immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage active caseloads in both state and federal courts
Handle all aspects of litigation, including written discovery, motion practice, oral advocacy, and depositions
Participate in strategic case development and trial preparation
Collaborate closely with a seasoned team of attorneys on complex litigation and class actions
Travel occasionally as needed for court appearances, depositions, and case-related matters
Requirements:
Licensed to practice law in California (preferred) or licensed in another U.S. jurisdiction with pending California Bar admission
2-8 years of civil litigation experience
Demonstrated experience with discovery, oral advocacy, motion practice, and depositions
Prior experience in class actions, complex litigation, and wage-and-hour litigation is highly preferred
Strong legal writing and research skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive salary ($130,000-$170,000 DOE/DOQ)
