A leading solar panel manufacturer is seeking a skilled Wafer Equipment Technician to install, maintain, and improve wafer production machinery at our state-of-the-art facility in Cartersville, GA. Key Responsibilities
  • Install, inspect, and maintain wafer production equipment.

  • Perform periodic machine inspections and calibrations.

  • Adjust and optimize machine settings for peak performance.

  • Manage spare parts inventory and track usage.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions.

  • Conduct quality checks to ensure flawless operation.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports.

  • Provide technical support and training to team members.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

  • Work collaboratively with production teams to enhance efficiency.

  • Enforce strict safety guidelines and workplace standards.

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

  • 0-3 years of experience in equipment maintenance within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to follow safety protocols and technical guidelines.

  • Physical stamina and strength for hands-on work.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Basic English communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Technical degree or relevant certifications.

  • Experience with high-speed machinery and precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

  • PLC programming knowledge is a plus.

  • Robotics experience is a plus.
