What You Will Do As a VTC Field Support Specialist, you will provide on-site technical support for video teleconferencing (VTC) systems and end-user equipment. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT hardware and communication systems across customer environments. You will ensure continuous system functionality, resolve technical issues, and support mission-critical communication needs. Key Responsibilities Install, operate, maintain, and repair end-user devices including VTC systems, personal computers, thin clients, phones, printers, pagers, radios, and monitors. Perform hands-on and remote technical support for integrated systems and subsystems. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues for VTC and associated devices. Install and configure software at customer and field locations. Read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics. Maintain a high level of customer service and ensure user satisfaction. Document support activities and technical resolutions accurately. Work independently or as part of a team to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner. Required Skills and Qualifications Expertise in the installation and support of VTC systems and end-user hardware. Proficient in troubleshooting technical issues related to devices and software. Knowledge of Active Directory security policies and remote user support. Skilled in reading and understanding technical documentation. Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Effective time management and task prioritization skills. Excellent written and verbal communication to interface technical and non-technical users. Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Education and Experience Minimum: High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant technical experience Associate's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the experience requirement. Certifications DoD 8570 IAT Level I Certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+ CE) Clearance Requirement: Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance to be considered for this role .
