What you will be doing. As a VTC IT field support Specialist, you will support our end-user community by providing Tier 2 and 3 on-site and remote support for computer workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment. Responsibilities Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify end-user devices including personal computers, thin clients, network interface cards, phones, monitors, printers, and other communication devices such as pagers and radios. Perform maintenance and technical support on devices, integrated systems, and subsystems; install and configure software at customer and field locations. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software for end-user equipment. Ensure customer satisfaction is achieved through effective support and service Experience and Education: High school diploma or GED with four (4) years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with two (2) years of experience. 8570 Certification. Security+ is preferred Highly skilled in installing, repairing, and troubleshooting VTC devices and systems Proficient in reading and understanding technical manuals and schematics Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. Proficient in working with end-users remotely Experienced in remote support for end-users. Familiarity with Active Directory security and policies Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Outstanding communication skills to relate with team members and support workers Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph to be considered for this role Independent Software is an Equal Opportunity Employer EOE, M/F/D/V.
