What you will be doing. As a VTC IT field support Specialist, you will support our end-user community by providing Tier 2 and 3 on-site and remote support for computer workstations, servers, printers, peripherals, and teleconferencing equipment.
Responsibilities - Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify end-user devices including personal computers, thin clients, network interface cards, phones, monitors, printers, and other communication devices such as pagers and radios.
- Perform maintenance and technical support on devices, integrated systems, and subsystems; install and configure software at customer and field locations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware and software for end-user equipment.
- Ensure customer satisfaction is achieved through effective support and service
Experience and Education: - High school diploma or GED with four (4) years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree with two (2) years of experience.
- 8570 Certification. Security+ is preferred
- Highly skilled in installing, repairing, and troubleshooting VTC devices and systems
- Proficient in reading and understanding technical manuals and schematics
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in working with end-users remotely
- Experienced in remote support for end-users.
- Familiarity with Active Directory security and policies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding communication skills to relate with team members and support workers
- Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph to be considered for this role
