A leading provider of highly engineered components serving the medical technology, aerospace, and industrial markets is seeking a VP Revenue & Global Sales to lead global revenue strategy and commercial operations. With strong private equity backing and a strategic growth plan in place, the company is scaling rapidly and preparing for a potential public offering. This executive will sit on the senior leadership team and play a critical role in building a high-performing global sales and marketing organization.


Purpose of the Position:

The Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing will report directly to the President and serve as a central force in accelerating top-line performance across the company's global customer base. This individual will lead all aspects of commercial strategy, drive accountability across a dispersed team, and foster a culture of innovation, trust, and performance. In addition to owning global revenue, this role will be instrumental in refining pricing models, reshaping the customer engagement approach, and aligning marketing with product and business development initiatives.


Primary Responsibilities:

Commercial Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and execute a global commercial strategy across North America, EMEA, and APAC with a focus on new business development and margin optimization
  • Translate long-term business objectives into actionable sales plans and marketing campaigns
  • Serve as a thought partner to the CEO and executive team on market expansion, pricing models, and growth verticals

Revenue Growth & Market Penetration

  • Expand global market share across core verticals: medical technology (implantables, diagnostics), aerospace/defense, industrials, and energy
  • Lead the organization through a commercial transformation from legacy business to high-growth strategic accounts
  • Identify emerging market trends and customer needs to proactively evolve offerings

Sales Operations & Team Development

  • Oversee a global sales organization, including regional sales leadership, global product category managers, and customer service
  • Support performance coaching and succession planning for a team of 40+ across sales, marketing, and customer support functions
  • Drive implementation of improved quota systems, CRM optimization, and pipeline forecasting

Brand Positioning & Marketing Enablement

  • Partner with marketing to elevate the brand, improve visibility, and enhance storytelling across both industrial and high-tech channels
  • Lead strategic marketing efforts, including product marketing, competitive intelligence, and customer engagement campaigns
  • Align outbound marketing strategies with evolving sales motion and product development timelines

Cross-Functional Alignment & Customer Relationships

  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product management to ensure commercial priorities are aligned with product roadmaps and manufacturing capabilities
  • Build relationships with top strategic accounts through regular touchpoints and annual customer planning sessions
  • Support global account strategy for Fortune 500 clients and next-gen innovators in sectors such as EV, med device, and aerospace

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 15+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience in industrial manufacturing, medical technology, or related complex engineered product environments
  • Proven success scaling a global sales organization with multiple product categories and customer verticals
  • Demonstrated experience managing international sales teams and customer relationships across EMEA and APAC
  • Strong financial and operational acumen, with the ability to translate strategy into execution
  • Experience driving cultural transformation in sales and marketing organizations
  • Executive presence with the ability to sit on a leadership team and influence cross-functional priorities
