Business Classifications About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Procurement and Strategic Sourcing to establish and lead a high-performing global procurement organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with corporate objectives and financial goals. This role involves leading a global team in all aspects of strategic sourcing, vendor management, and procurement operations, with a focus on driving enterprise-wide procurement transformation, cost savings, and operational efficiency. The VP will also be tasked with building and maintaining a strong supplier ecosystem, leading governance and vendor management programs, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Applicants for the VP of Procurement and Strategic Sourcing position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, and a proven track record of delivering high-impact sourcing strategies. Experience in a large software, SaaS, or technology organization is highly preferred, as is experience in responsible sourcing and a procurement-centric management consulting firm. The role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, as well as the ability to partner with C-Level executives. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA or equivalent preferred, and procurement certification is a plus. The ideal candidate will be adept at using and implementing procurement systems and spend analytics, and will have a strong background in negotiating large-scale contracts and managing vendor relationships.
