Summary: Our growing, PE backed, technology client is seeking a VP of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to join their team. The VP of FP&A will play a critical role in driving the financial performance and strategic decision-making processes of the organization. The VP of FP&A will report to the CFO and manage FP&A, treasury and M&A for the company.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the global FP&A function
- Built and own detailed financial models
- Lead/Develop analyses around key financial metrics, trends, and variances to provide insights into business performance
- Participate in management of the corporate G&A expenses
- Evaluate investment opportunities
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency
- Manage banking relationships
- Support integration efforts post-acquisition
- Provide management, direction, coaching, and mentoring to direct reports and matrixed personnel
Skills, Competencies, and Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA preferred
- 20+ years of progressive experience in accounting and/or finance roles
- Experience in FP&A, buy side and sell side M&A, and Treasury
- 5+ years of experience managing direct reports in finance roles
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- PE backed company experience a plus
- Experience working with planning tools
- International finance experience
