Hays Facilities Management has partnered with a company to hire a VP of Facilities, to be based on Long Island, NY.


Your new role

The job duties of the VP of Facilities will include, among others:

- Strategic development and execution of a company-wide facilities management program

- Oversight of Preventive Maintenance, Capital projects/improvement across the portfolio

- Manage the budget for the facilities management division

- Work cross-sectionally with all lines of the business, including third-party vendors, to ensure successful execution of business objectives

- Responsible for the management and growth of staff in the FM department


What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:

- Experience supporting Facilities Management at a high level

- Must exhibit strong leadership qualities capable of overseeing a multifaceted facilities department

- A bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering or industry certifications are highly desired

- Ability to travel as needed is required

- This role requires a 5-day a-week presence on LI


What you'll get in return

Base salary circa $250K, 25% bonus, and equity piece
