About the Job

The VP - Capital Markets will act as an intermediary between our client and all lending parties such as banks, credit unions, etc., lead strategy of debt and equity placement, analyze cash position of portfolio providing recommendations to executive team, and support the executive team in making strategic decisions.

The role's responsibilities are detailed more below but can be best summarized as executer of the company strategy by acquiring debt and equity as well as managing important partnerships and relationships.

  • Assist in structuring, negotiating, and executing various types of asset financing transactions
  • Maintaining existing banking and lending institution relationships of the company
  • Liaise with Real Estate and Finance Teams to ensure full integration and cohesive communication at all times
  • Self-driven to network and source new lender relationships
  • Manage all existing debt and oversee all compliance required by current loan covenants
  • Prepare marketing materials and necessary informational packages to potential lenders;
  • Work alongside internal and external legal teams to close loans
  • Prepare cashflow projections for CFO and present to executive team on recurring basis findings
  • Work with Accounting team to oversee treasury management
  • Assist CEO and CFO with FX contracts; and
  • Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • A minimum of 3-5 years working in Real Estate capital markets.
  • Financial modeling experience.
  • Strong accounting acumen.
  • Excellent ability to build and maintain professional relationships internally and externally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to large groups of people.
  • Strong skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and database systems (including third-party market data sources).
  • Some travel will be required.

Compensation $200,000 - $250,000 plus bonus
