Under the direct supervision of the Guest and Volunteer Services Department Manager, the Volunteer Coordinator operates the Volunteer front office. The Coordinator is responsible for the application processing and training, system and compliance based onboarding, maintenance of data base tracking systems, paper record keeping, and ongoing initiatives while providing all aspects of volunteer and staff customer service. Location: Based at ST (18 E Laurel Rd Stratford, NJ). Floating to CH & WT (Cherry Hill, Washington Twp.)

Schedule: 8am-4:30pm, M-F

Essential Functions
Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
Ensures applicants are encouraged, processed and on boarded in a timely and accurate manner, while service as an ambassador for the Jefferson of NJ Hospitals to the surrounding communities. Also, is accountable for all aspects of compliance adherence and maintenance in the volunteer records and system data.
Coordinates and processes all request from Departments through the New Jersey Division, and promptly fulfills and follows up with such requests for volunteers desired by Department Managers.
Keeps accurate and up to date records of all volunteer paper and system-based training and compliance exercises. Ensures all aspects of volunteer department tasks, forms and documents are recorded, detailed, and accessible.
Ability to travel to other campuses when needed to do a formal check in on placed volunteers. This included the Washington Township, Cherry Hill, and Stratford locations.
Provides administrative support to the department, processing phone calls, answering internet based applicant requests ordering any office/department supplies and responding to request.
Performs other related duties as assigned by leadership.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required):
Ability to read and write in the English language
Proficient in computer applications, outlook, word, excel, power point, teams, etc.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Education:
HS Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
AND

Experience:

5+ years' experience in an office/administrative environment required.
