We are looking to hire a Volunteer Outreach & Engagement Administrator to join our Human Capital team.

This role is responsible for the outreach and engagement of volunteers in support of Vivalon's mission, values, strategic plan, and development philosophy, resulting in the achievement of goals for volunteer recruitment, number of volunteers, retention, satisfaction, and diversity. This is accomplished through active community participation to build awareness of volunteerism at Vivalon, including connection to community groups, local partnerships, public speaking, tabling opportunities, and community events.

Additionally, this role will seek innovative ways to promote volunteering and attract new volunteers. Ongoing recruitment efforts include external postings, Vivalon website, social media, volunteer open houses, and volunteer & employee referrals. Responsibilities also include strong support of, and partnership and collaboration with, organizational departments and leaders on their volunteer needs and activities. This role creates a positive volunteer experience by ensuring effective onboarding, placement, training, recognition, and appreciation. Volunteer surveys, forums, newsletters, events, and opportunities for social connection support our culture of gratitude for our Vivalon volunteers.

Requirements

A few of the tasks that will be performed are:
  • Partner with the department leaders to assess and identify current and future volunteer needs, including quantity and schedule information; confirm role descriptions.
  • Maintain and enhance current volunteer opportunity promotional materials and volunteer pages on Vivalon's website.
  • Perform data collection, records maintenance, and database management (Salesforce) for volunteer information.
  • Track and evaluate results of recruitment and outreach efforts .
  • Prepare timely and accurate reports for internal and external stakeholders, including recruitment, retention, engagement, and demographic statistics.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • $28-$34 an hour (depending on experience)
