Location: Remote/Virtual (Preference for volunteers located in San Bernardino County and Riverside County, California)
Overview: ONE i/e, a 501c-3 nonprofit, is dedicated to empowering nonprofit leaders and entrepreneurs through education, networking, and resources. We are seeking a volunteer corporate liaison with the contacts needed to approach large corporations with a significant California presence. The goal is to secure partnerships for providing workshops, mentorship, or curriculum for employee entrepreneurship or innovation programs through sponsored projects.
Responsibilities: - Networking: Utilize existing connections and networks to identify potential corporate partners interested in supporting entrepreneurship and innovation.
- Research: Identify large corporations with a significant presence in California that align with ONE i/e's mission.
- Proposal Development: Tailor proposals to each corporation's specific giving priorities and geographic focus.
- Partnership Development: Approach and secure partnerships with corporations to sponsor workshops, mentorship programs, or curriculum development.
- Collaboration: Work with the ONE i/e team to gather necessary information and ensure proposals align with organizational goals.
- Tracking: Monitor and report on the status of partnership proposals and agreements.
Qualifications: - Experience in corporate relations, fundraising, or business development.
- Strong research skills to identify potential corporate partners.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to craft compelling and persuasive partnership proposals.
- Ability to tailor proposals to specific corporate giving priorities and geographic focus.
- Access to networks within large corporations, particularly those with a significant presence in California.
- Ability to commit 6 to 8 hours per month to corporate liaison activities.
- Preference for volunteers located in San Bernardino County and Riverside County, California.
