Part-Time Volunteer Coordinator Location: MV Advancements - McMinnville, OR area Type: Part-Time 10 hours/week Flexible Schedule Occasional Evenings/Weekends Pay: $23.50/hour, non-exempt (eligible for overtime)

Help us connect people with meaningful service opportunities. MV Advancements is looking for a passionate Volunteer Coordinator to lead our volunteer program. This role is perfect for someone looking for part-time employment who is energized by building relationships, organizing meaningful service experiences, and creating a community where volunteers feel seen, supported, and inspired.

Wages and Schedule.

This part-time position is 10 hours a week, starting at $23.50/hour. It is eligible for Paid Time Off and access to the free EAP, Wellness Program, and telehealth support.

You'll be the welcoming presence at the heart of our volunteer program. You will work with our Community Relations Manager to actively recruit volunteers from all corners of the community-colleges, senior centers, service clubs, churches, and more. Get to know each volunteer's strengths, availability, and goals to match them with roles that are meaningful to them. Use your communication skills to keep volunteers actively engaged, ensuring each feels included, heard, and appreciated.

We're constantly evolving-and you'll help lead the way. In partnership with MVAs leaders, you will develop creative strategies for recognizing, appreciating, and retaining volunteers. Stay curious and proactive in finding new ways to connect with people and improve their experience.

Behind every great volunteer experience is solid coordination and attention to detail. While keeping people at the heart of the job, you will be actively engaged in the administrative parts of running the volunteer program. In partnership with team members, you will keep accurate and organized records of all volunteer activities and documentation, an updated event calendar, and respond to volunteer questions and concerns.

You'll collaborate across departments to ensure volunteer efforts align with real needs. You will be coordinating with team members to identify current volunteer opportunities across our programs, offer support and solutions when challenges arise, and celebrate wins along the way. What You Bring to the Role:
  • A passion for helping others and creating community
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Friendly, approachable communication style
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • At least one year of related experience (volunteer or paid)
  • Valid driver's license and at least 2 years of safe driving history
