What You Will Do As a Voice Engineer, you will support the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex voice and data networks across enterprise environments. You will deliver Tier-2 and Tier-3 escalation support, optimize network performance, and lead the modernization of legacy systems. This role requires deep technical knowledge, hands-on configuration skills, and the ability to guide junior personnel through complex challenges. Key Responsibilities Investigate and resolve complex network and hardware issues across voice, data, and video systems Research, analyze, and isolate root causes of errors and implement corrective actions Provide advanced Tier-2 and Tier-3 technical support for escalated network incidents Install, configure, test, and maintain network applications on servers and voice systems Design and implement LAN, CAN, and voice networks to meet operational requirements Update and modernize legacy network systems in accordance with planned upgrades Create and maintain accurate network diagrams and documentation to support ongoing operations Perform system and equipment configurations, including routers, switches, PBX, voicemail, and signaling systems Recommend and execute approved solutions based on technical evaluations Serve as a technical mentor to less experienced engineers and support personnel Required Skills and Qualifications Advanced expertise in voice, data, and video network infrastructure Hands-on experience configuring routers, switches, hubs, call systems, PBX, and signaling platforms Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team Excellent documentation, communication, and mentoring abilities Demonstrated experience with enterprise network architecture and administration Familiarity with network performance monitoring tools and VoIP technologies Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution Minimum of 15 years of experience in systems and tools administration An additional five (5) years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree Certifications Required: DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, SSCP, GSEC, or equivalent) Clearance Requirement: Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance to be considered for this role .
