Summary of Position: The Visual Merchandising Project Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Sr. Manager, Procurement by assisting with visual merchandising projects across various channels. Principal Accountabilities:
  • Assist in the development and management of integrated project timelines for visual merchandising initiatives, ensuring timely execution across all channels.
  • Monitor project deadlines, track changes in scope, and guarantee a smooth workflow even in high-pressure situations.
  • Facilitate project meetings, engage in discussions, and track important takeaways to keep the team and stakeholders informed and aligned.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet timelines and critical milestones effectively.
  • Identify potential risks to project timelines proactively and work alongside stakeholders to implement alternative action plans as needed.
  • Act as the primary liaison for external vendors, including print, prop, and fixture suppliers, ensuring effective communication and execution.
  • Coordinate logistics processes, managing shipments between vendors and retail accounts to ensure timely delivery and execution.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 1-3 years of project management experience, preferably in merchandising, operations, or a related field.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across all levels, including external vendors.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive mindset with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently while encouraging teamwork.
  • Leadership qualities, with the capability to build trust and productive relationships with stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills, able to navigate ambiguity and meet deadlines while maintaining quality.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (intermediate to advanced); familiarity with project management tools is advantageous.
