Role Description
The Regional Visual Merchandiser for New York, in this hybrid position , develops and executes visual merchandising strategies across multiple retail locations. You will create an elevated shopping experience that reflects Abel Richard's brand, ensuring our stores embody sophistication and drive sales. This includes managing layouts, designing displays, training staff, and analyzing market trends to maximize regional impact.

Salary Range: $140,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications
Responsibilities
Core Visual Merchandising:
- Develop and implement visual strategy aligned with brand identity and seasonal narratives.
- Plan and execute store layouts and product displays to maximize impact.
- Design captivating window displays to attract and engage customers.
- Maintain and refresh in-store presentations and merchandising fixtures.
- Train store teams on visual standards and provide ongoing support.
- Analyze market and competitor trends to inform visual strategies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and retail.
- Manage regional VM budget effectively and responsibly.
- Report on VM performance and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Lead visual setup for store openings and renovations.
Pop-Up Store Design & Execution:
- Conceptualize and execute layouts and themes for pop-up experiences.
- Coordinate logistics for props, fixtures, and signage.
- Lead installation and breakdown of pop-up visual displays.
- Tailor visual strategies for non-traditional, high-impact retail environments.
- Monitor and refine pop-up execution based on live engagement and feedback.
- Contribute to post-event evaluation and recommendations.
Supervisory & Decision-Making:
- May oversee freelance or in-store visual teams during installations.
- Has authority on display execution and adaptations in alignment with brand standards.
- Advises regional and store leaders on all visual merchandising decisions.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of visual merchandising experience in luxury or high-end retail, preferably within the Scottsdale market.
- Strong creative portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling and execution.
- Deep understanding of luxury aesthetics, fashion trends, and premium environments, with specific knowledge of the Scottsdale market.
- Skilled in managing multiple projects under tight timelines.
- Confident communicator and collaborative team player.
- Proficient in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite; SketchUp is a plus.
- Able to travel regularly within the assigned region.
- Passion for fashion, craftsmanship, and design excellence.
