Job Summary:
The Visual Designer will use a variety of specialized knowledge, skills, and abilities to design, edit and develop professional multimedia products including advertisements, presentations, website banners, email and social media marketing graphics and videos, printed material and more for internal and external audiences.

Essential Job Functions

  • Design, develop and produce graphics and materials that support internal and external IBC business and communication objectives, such as: digital ads, social media graphics, short videos, email newsletters, print collateral (i.e., brochures, flyers, banners, etc.), as well as billboards
  • Work closely with the lead graphic designer and digital media specialist to brainstorm multi-faceted campaign ideas
  • Captivate our audience with design that elevates visual appearance and ensures brand continuity and consistency across all communication channels
  • Demonstrate your value by contributing to team discussions around vision, ideation, design, and execution
  • Edit and enhance photography for print and online use
  • Maintain communication with third party vendors - submit files for production and/or publishing utilizing appropriate layouts and formatting
  • Edit and enhance photography for print and online use
  • Disseminate mass emails utilizing targeted distribution lists through Constant Contact
  • Work with Marketing Analyst to use Q2 Smart Online Banking System to target specific customers, based on traits, characteristics and/or geography, with specific ads
  • Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods. Maintain communication with third party vendors - submit files for production and/or publishing utilizing appropriate layouts and formatting
  • Review materials to ensure finished products are following brand standards, upholding high quality standards, and representing the desired look and feel
  • Understand Compliance requirements and disclosures for banks
  • Understand the Bank's advertising policy

SKILLS
  • High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, etc.)
  • Camera skills (photography or video)
  • Animation or motion graphic skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • An outstanding portfolio (required) of work demonstrating mastery in creating effective and unique designs
  • Experience with photography and video production
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in English grammar and writing - Spanish is a plus
  • At least 1 year of design experience

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or equivalent/ proven work experience
