Hours: Saturday/Sunday 8:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Hospice or Long Term Care experience required
24/7 support from our full-time Board Certified physicians and APRNs, Chaplains and Social Workers

Position Description:
The Visit Nurse is responsible for making after hours visits to patients when assigned and dispatched by the triage nurse. The Visit Nurse is responsible for providing acute symptom management and end of life care to terminally ill patients and support for their caregivers,according to agency policies.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Requirements:

High School diploma or GED required,
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred, with motivation to work with the dying and bereaved.
Valid, unencumbered LPN or RN licensure in Kansas and Missouri, required.
Minimum one (1) year relevant work experience in caring for terminal patients and others with life threatening illnesses, required.
Ability to demonstrate clinical judgment and decision making based on knowledge and skill in caring for
patients with life-limiting illness, required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite, preferred.
Prior working knowledge of Electronic Medical Systems (EMRs) required; prior experience with Suncoast preferred.
Valid CPR certification required.
