ASD is seeking a VIP Support Specialist who will be responsible for providing an outstanding level of direct customer support to OUSD(C) VIP users. The VIP Support Specialist will have extensive experience in face-to-face VIP end-user technical support for desktop/laptop computers and mobile devices, experience in the JSP environment. This position requires onsite Monday through Friday support at the Pentagon and after-hours or weekend support as needed. The ideal candidate must be proficient with MS Windows with a minimum of 4 years' experience administering, in-depth understanding of modern Microsoft Active Directory (AD) infrastructure, complete understanding of Microsoft Windows 365 and Microsoft Suite, experience in TCP/IP and VMware Virtualization technologies, and experience in DoD practices. Responsibilities include the following tasks: Provide face-to-face VIP end-user technical support for desktop/laptop computers and mobile devices.
Provide technical support on Microsoft operating systems and network services.
Configure Microsoft Office user settings as required.
Oversee JSP Add, Move, and Change VIP requests.
Acting as a liaison between OUSD(C) users and JSP VIP support
Assist in installing and configuring software, tracking, diagnosing, and coordinating help desk support for OUSD(C) VIP user technical problems.
Perform travel support aboard aircraft for equipment setup.
Support the enterprise infrastructure to provide desktop and VTC support.
Provide MS Windows architecture engineering services (i.e., Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO) hardware configuration, managing, and maintaining).
Ensure availability and functionality of the Comptroller mission-critical application.
Support the requisition and issuance of SIPR Tokens under JSP Registration Authority (RA) guidelines.
Establish and maintain a process to manage unclassified and classified Enterprise and Comptroller specific mission application accounts.
Organize, set up, and support video teleconferencing (VTC) Qualifications:
Education/Experience - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
Experience working in the JSP Help Desk/Service Desk support environment and supporting the VIP customer.
4+ years of user support experience 4+ years of direct functional support experience providing desktop support to government users and DoD applications and systems.
4 years' experience with Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Suite/Office 365 implementation and support
2 years' experience in video teleconferencing (VTC) technologies.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Active Directory (AD) infrastructure Special Skills Needed (if applicable):
Certifications - Security+ CE certification is required; MCP or MCSE is preferred.
Security Clearance - Minimum Active DoD Secret required.
