Responsibilities: - Acts as an ambassador for the venue in communication, collaborating, engaging in the community, networking, promoting and other responsibilities.
- Welcome VIP guests and provide exceptional service throughout their visit.
- Coordinate with the Nightlife Manager to ensure seamless guest experience, table minimums and more.
- Responsible for booking tables and creating guest lists at the venue.
- Responsible for seating tables during the shift at the appropriate table minimum established by the Nightlife manager.
- Provide information about the property, amenities, and local events to the guests.
- Assist with special requests from the VIP guests.
- Track and report VIP guest feedback.
- Cultivate strong relationships with guests and build loyalty with each guest to encourage repeat visits.
- Make reservations for VIP seating, events and more.
- Ensure guests have a positive and memorable experience.
- Communicate a professional introduction between the VIP guest and the VIP server.
- The VIP Host will report to the Nightlife Manager for all scheduled duties.
- Turn in reservations to the Nightlife Manager prior to each working shift.
- Walk the floor during shift to engage with guests and have an eye for detail.
- Enforce the venues dress code to guests.
- Familiar with the Nightlife menu to provide recommendations to all VIP customers.
- Exhibits and executes a complete knowledge of the venues sequence of service and selling technique.
- Collects customer information for the venue database, while constantly striving to increase the size of the venues clientele.
- Responsible for making the call to release a table in the case of late arrival or no-show.
- Additionally, the VIP Host will be responsible for but not limited to numerous other marketing activities such as email blasts, outreach, nightclub outreach, booking additional events, meeting social media requirements and more.
Qualifications: - Must be 21 years of age and older.
- Must obtain a valid TABC Certification and Food Handlers Certification.
- A minimum of two years of previous experience in a high-volume environment.
- Experience in nightlife, customer service, hospitality, or sales is preferred.
- Must be flexible with working hours and able to work weekends, nights and Holidays.
- Must be fluent in the English language, both written and verbal, bilingual skills is a plus.
- Must have strong knowledge of spirits, wines, and champagne/prosecco.
- Work effectively with all team members.
