Caelum Research Corporation is seeking a skilled and creative Videographer/Photographer Hybrid to support the Visual Information team at the United States Army War College (USAWC) in Carlisle, PA. This full-time, on-site role is responsible for capturing and producing visual content that supports USAWC's mission and public communications across web, social media, and internal platforms.
The ideal candidate is a visual storyteller with a strong portfolio of photography and short-form video work. You should be comfortable producing content in both studio and field environments, capturing events as they unfold, and delivering polished media ready for publication.

Responsibilities

• Capture and edit high-quality video content, including cinematic and journalistic B-roll, interviews, and event coverage.

• Produce short-form videos (1-5 minutes) tailored for web, social media, and internal communication.

• Conduct both studio and on-location photography for official portraits, ceremonies, and high-level events.

• Collaborate with the Public Affairs Office (PAO), designers, and internal stakeholders to ensure visual content aligns with branding and communication goals.

• Organize and manage digital assets in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) standards.

Required Qualifications

• A strong portfolio demonstrating experience in both videography and photography is essential.

• Proficiency with DSLR/mirrorless camera systems, lighting, and audio equipment.

• Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and Lightroom.

• Ability to shoot cinematic and journalistic B-roll in dynamic environments.

• Experience producing polished 1-5 minute videos with strong narrative flow.

• Strong understanding of composition, pacing, visual storytelling, and production workflows.

• Experience producing content for digital platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and websites.

• Excellent time-management, communication, and organizational skills.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Must be able to obtain or qualify for a Secret security clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines.

• Familiarity with DoD branding, content requirements, and visual information standards.

• Strong visual storytelling instincts and a documentary-style approach.

Experience: 1-2 years of experience in videography and/or photography, including shooting, editing, and post-production. Experience with various camera types (DSLR, mirrorless, video cameras) and lighting setups. A portfolio demonstrating relevant skills and experience is required
