The Vice President of Strategic Product Management and Delivery will drive the company's strategic initiatives, overseeing high-impact projects to align with the company's vision and goals. This senior leader will manage a team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability, and collaborate with business units and IT to pursue technology solutions that support Swire's strategic goals. They will engage with the bottler community to leverage best practices and stay aware of industry trends. The role involves developing annual plans and budgets, identifying operational improvements, and ensuring business alignment for all technology initiatives. The Vice President will partner with C-suite executives and senior leadership to drive success and innovation, oversee critical initiatives related to infrastructure, security, and software integration, and maintain accountability for project cost, quality, and schedule. They will champion adherence to the SDLC process, drive continuous improvement, and foster a high-performance culture within the team. The ideal candidate will have strong facilitation, collaboration, and documentation skills, be proactive in seeking out information, and possess strategic leadership, technology initiative management, executive collaboration, initiative oversight, financial accountability, stakeholder engagement, operational process excellence, leadership and team development, and process improvement skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Technology Products team, driving project prioritization and delivery to align with strategic objectives. Collaborate with functional and financial leaders to develop annual plans and budgets, and identify areas for operational improvement within Swire IT
  • Ensure business alignment and priority setting for all technology initiatives. Lead large-scale transformation initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption, and drive sustainable change that positively impacts operations and strategic direction
  • Partner with C-suite executives, senior leadership, and other stakeholders to drive organizational success and innovation. Coordinate with IT functional leaders to resolve issues, mitigate risks, and ensure high-value, high-quality work delivery
  • Oversee critical initiatives related to infrastructure, security, reporting, third-party software integration, and postproduction support. Maintain rigorous accountability for project cost, quality, and schedule.
  • Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring cost control and financial accountability. Optimize resource allocation to maximize return on investment
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and collaboration. Develop and publish Technology Initiative dashboard health metrics, and share best practices with the Corporate Enterprise PMO
  • Champion adherence to the standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process, driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve project outcomes
  • Foster a high-performance culture within the team, promoting collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Recruit, develop, and manage direct and indirect reports, ensuring they have the necessary skills and support
  • Identify and implement strategic process improvement initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness. Develop systems, infrastructure, and frameworks for project execution, and ensure the Technology Product team is trained and capable of executing with appropriate methodologies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Information Systems required
  • Master's Degree Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Information Systems preferred
  • 15+ years Technology or IT experience across multiple business types managing IT related projects or products including large enterprise required
  • 10+ years People leader of product, project, or program managers including leading large enterprise IT initiatives required
  • 4+ years' Experience using Scrum PM methodologies as a Scrum Master or Product Owner or PMBOK principles preferred
  • 4+ years' Experience Food & Beverage, CPG, or other manufacturing industry preferred
  • 6+ years Product, Program Management, or Portfolio Experience preferred
  • Experience partnering with the business/multiple teams to develop strategic technology roadmaps and measuring Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
