Job Title: Vice President, Strategic New Sales

Job Summary:


The Vice President, Strategic New Sales is an executive role responsible first, for establishing and executing Verify's new sales & revenue strategy and second, establishing and leading a high-performing sales team focused on securing strategic clients and associated revenue streams. Our new sales leader will play a critical role in identifying market opportunities, shaping go-to-market plans, and building strong relationships with key targets to accelerate revenue growth and market expansion.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for acquiring new, strategic clients (OEMs, primes, and major sub-primes) across targeted markets and verticals (primarily within the aerospace and defense industry).
  • Establish and manage a structured new sales process and pipeline through its various stages.
  • Establish, manage, and lead a team of sales executives focused on strategic clients and complex enterprise-level sales.
  • Identify and pursue new sales and revenue opportunities that align with company growth objectives, including greenfield clients and untapped market segments.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-potential opportunities through direct outreach, networking, partnerships, and marketing collaboration.
  • Successfully negotiate and close on pipeline opportunities.
  • Partner closely with service delivery, programs, operations, marketing, technology, and finance teams to ensure go to market alignment.
  • Forecast revenue and provide monthly reports on performance metrics, pipeline health, and sales activities to the executive team. Deliver on annual new sales revenue targets that generate on-going forecasted revenue streams managed by the company's service delivery and program teams.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and key prospect meetings to enhance brand visibility and thought leadership.
  • Continuously improve sales processes, methodologies, and tools to maximize efficiency and effectiveness in securing new business.

Qualifications:


  • Current proven success in selling enterprise level professional services with master services agreements to the aerospace and defense industries.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in new sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing strategic/enterprise-level new business sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in high-growth, B2B environments.
  • Expertise in consultative and value-based selling, with experience closing large, complex deals.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
  • Road Warrior.

Preferred Experience:


  • Experience in Aerospace & Defense Sector.
  • Global sales experience or exposure to international markets.
  • Background in launching new products or entering new markets.
