Position Overview:

The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building and executing sales strategies, and managing a team of sales professionals. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic planning with direct engagement in sales activities, particularly in relationship management and business development.


Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Relationship Management

  • Develop relationships with leadership at channel partner organizations (e.g., Grainger, distributors, and other intermediaries).
  • Strengthen relationships with existing military base clients and expand sales in the military sector.
  • Act as the face of the company, evangelizing our Air Supply solutions to frontline sellers and key stakeholders.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic accounts.
  • Manage key relationships with existing customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Drive expansion into new markets and customer segments as part of the company's growth strategy.

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Define and manage sales KPIs, forecasting, and reporting to drive performance.
  • Work closely with leadership to align sales initiatives with overall business goals and growth plans.

Team Management & Development

  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a growing sales team, ensuring team members meet performance expectations.
  • Implement sales training programs to enhance skills and ensure the team is aligned with company objectives.
  • Foster a results-driven sales culture with an emphasis on accountability and continuous improvement.

Revenue Growth & Customer Success

  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with demand generation.
  • Develop and refine pricing models, sales proposals, and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure a customer-focused approach, leveraging insights to enhance sales effectiveness and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of sales experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role (preferably within a small to mid-sized company).
  • Proven track record of scaling revenue and building high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and sales operations experience.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment and adapt to change.
