Business Classifications About the Role The organization is seeking a strategic and motivated Vice President of Fundraising Strategy to spearhead its chapter-based initiatives focused on improving the lives of individuals affected by type 1 diabetes. This dynamic leader will drive the strategic development and execution of key fundraising, acquisition, awareness, and volunteer activation initiatives.
In this role, you will oversee a large and dedicated team who collaborate directly with local volunteers, donors, and leadership volunteers to design and implement innovative fundraising programs and advocacy efforts. You will be an influential leader within our organization, providing mentorship and support to Associate Vice Presidents while partnering closely with fellow senior leadership.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in field-based fundraising, including a minimum of 7 years in a leadership capacity within a multi-million-dollar organization. Experience in national and chapter-based health-related fundraising is highly preferred.
We seek a strategic thinker with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets, expertise in market research, and the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team. Your leadership style should embody empathy and results-driven approaches, demonstrating a strong commitment to fostering a culture of belonging.
