We're representing a nationally ranked general contractor seeking a Vice President of Construction to lead operations across South Florida from their West Palm Beach office. This is a pivotal leadership position with full oversight of project delivery, team development, and client satisfaction across a diverse portfolio of commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all construction operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of project executives, project managers, and superintendents.
- Drive operational excellence and implement best practices across preconstruction, scheduling, and field operations.
- Partner with executive leadership to support business development and strategic planning.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and design professionals.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of commercial construction experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale commercial projects (hospitality, healthcare, mixed-use, or institutional a plus).
- Strong understanding of South Florida's construction landscape and permitting processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
