Role Overview
We seek a growth-focused VP of Business Development to accelerate revenue, secure high-value contracts, and expand our market leadership in cloud solutions. This strategic leader will architect our sales engine, cultivate C-level relationships, and maximize partner ecosystems - all while building a world-class commercial team that executes with precision.
Core Mission
- Drive predictable ARR growth by securing high-value cloud and IT services contracts and expanding strategically in the market.
- Build and leverage our technology partner network (Microsoft, AWS, CrowdStrike, etc.) to amplify our pipeline and accelerate deals.
- Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performance revenue organization
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Acceleration
- Close complex, high-margin deals ($1M+ ACV) through direct sales and partner ecosystems
- Develop joint GTM strategies with key ICS technology partners
- Optimize and execute MDF programs to maximize ROI on partner investments
Partner Ecosystem Growth
- Align with ICS's technology partners to leverage co-selling opportunities and support programs
- Negotiate and activate partner-funded demand generation and enablement resources
- Develop metrics-driven partner engagement strategies to expand market reach
Talent & Team Development
- Recruit and develop top-tier sales talent with cloud/partner-selling expertise
- Implement rigorous training on partner programs, MDF utilization, and co-selling motions
- Foster a culture of collaboration between direct sales and partner teams
Marketing & Operations
- Align internal/external marketing resources with partner co-marketing initiatives
- Oversee sales enablement tools and CRM optimization for partner-influenced deals
- Develop KPIs to track partner contribution to pipeline and revenue
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 10+ years scaling cloud/IT services revenue ($10M+ quotas) through direct and partner channels
- Proven expertise activating technology partner programs (MDF, co-sell, training certs)
- Track record in recruiting and developing cloud-native sales talent
- Strong operational skills in CRM, partner portals, and co-selling platforms
- Executive presence with an ability to influence partners and C-suite buyers
