Dallas, TX (Onsite, 5 days/week)

$300,000 to $400,000 base salary+ very competitive bonus scheme + share package paid annually

Up to 20% Travel (Primarily Quarterly)

We are working with an organization seeking a visionary strategic leader to spearhead a high-impact smart manufacturing transformation for a leading semiconductor organization. This greenfield leadership role offers the unique opportunity to build and execute a comprehensive road map that redefines how technology and manufacturing integrate, evolve, and perform.


As the architect of this transformation, you will shape the future of manufacturing through AI/ML, automation, and data-driven innovation across a global tech and manufacturing landscape.

Your Mission

Lead from Vision to Execution:

  • Design and deliver the overarching strategy and road map for smart manufacturing.
  • Champion the implementation of AI/ML, automation, and robotics across process technology, back-end assembly, packaging, and testing operations.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership and IT to align on architecture, tooling strategy (build vs. buy), and integration plans.

Drive Operational Excellence:

  • Optimize R&D timelines (currently 5 years) using data science and digital solutions.
  • Improve cost efficiency, factory productivity, and cycle time.
  • Leverage massive data streams (petabytes weekly) to improve material usage and reduce waste.
  • Advance global sustainability initiatives in energy use, carbon reduction, and facility optimization.

What You Bring

Required Background:

  • Deep experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership in automation, robotics, and smart manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute enterprise-level strategies in complex manufacturing environments.
  • Strong data fluency - comfortable with analytics, architecture, and large-scale systems.
