Overview
A well-established, healthcare organization is seeking a Vice President of Marketing to lead enterprise-level marketing and brand strategy. This executive will oversee the planning, execution, and performance of marketing initiatives across all locations and service lines. Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will play a critical role in strengthening market presence, enhancing patient acquisition, and aligning brand messaging across channels and regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own the comprehensive marketing strategy for all service lines, with a focus on demand generation, brand awareness, and market penetration.
- Recruit, develop, and manage an internal marketing team, including specialists in digital, brand, content, and communications.
- Drive consistency of the company's visual and verbal brand identity across all platforms and locations.
- Oversee digital performance channels including SEO, SEM, paid social, email marketing, and website optimization to increase patient acquisition.
- Partner with field teams to localize campaigns and promotions that resonate with diverse patient communities.
- Manage external agency and vendor relationships to support campaign execution and augment in-house capabilities.
- Track and report on marketing KPIs, optimize spend based on ROI, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align marketing with organizational goals.
Required Experience
- 10+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a VP or senior director-level role.
- Proven experience leading marketing strategy in a healthcare or wellness services organization, ideally with multi-location operations.
- Demonstrated success building and managing internal teams in a matrixed or enterprise environment.
- Expertise in digital marketing, brand strategy, campaign execution, and performance analytics.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to operate across functions and levels.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in large, multi-site healthcare systems or service-based organizations.
- Familiarity with EMR/CRM platforms, patient journey mapping, and HIPAA-compliant marketing practices.
- Knowledge of regional healthcare markets and patient acquisition strategies.
