Salary Range: $80,000-$120,000

Reports to: CEO


The Woodlands Area Economic Development Partnership (EDP) is seeking a strategic and relationship-focused Vice President to join our executive team. This role will tackle complex challenges related to partner engagement, investor growth, event optimization, and community relationship management. We're looking for a skilled relationship builder who can demonstrate the ability to solve these challenges.

About Us: The EDP serves as a central catalyst for economic growth and development in The Woodlands area, connecting businesses, investors, and community stakeholders to create a thriving local economy. We rely on our investors and partners to fund our activities and provide their expertise. In turn, we recruit the next generation of businesses to The Woodlands and solve problems for our existing businesses.


Core Challenges You'll Solve:

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Create systems that keep diverse stakeholders engaged, informed, and activated despite competing priorities and limited touchpoints
  • Investor Expansion: Develop compelling approaches to attract new investors and, when appropriate, increase investment amount
  • Experience Enhancement: Design relationship journeys that deliver measurable value to partners of different sizes and with different objectives
  • Data-Driven Relationship Management: Maintain a comprehensive CRM framework that captures meaningful relationship insights
  • Financial Optimization: Implement strategies to ensure timely payments while seeking efficiency in payment processes
  • Event Effectiveness: Deliver high-impact events that maximize value while minimizing resource expenditure
  • Community Connection: Navigate complex community ecosystems to build strategic partnerships that advance organizational goals
  • Marketing our Value: In coordination with other team members, develop and execute a marketing and communications strategy that achieves strategic goals and measurably demonstrates the EDP's value
