About Optimum Quantvest
Optimum Quantvest Corporation (OQC) is a Dallas-based investment manager with institutional and retail clients in Fixed Income and Equities. Stemming from an acquisition by the Optimum Financial Group a few years back, the firm is now ready to accelerate the growth of its assets under management (AUM). We are looking for a seasoned sales and marketing professional to become a core member of the team and contribute significantly to the development effort.
About the Role
As the Vice-President for Sales and Marketing, you will coordinate, develop, and execute sales and marketing programs and campaigns and be responsible for the success of multichannel sales campaigns covering different market segments (insurers and other asset owners, captives, fraternals, public entities, investment platforms), focussing on AUM growth through lead generation and client retention. This role requires a versatile professional who excels in developing and executing strategies across multiple sales channels. You will collaborate closely with the team to ensure alignment with business objectives and optimize the demand generation process. As part of a small firm, you will sometimes find yourself wearing multiple hats, stepping outside the usual boundaries of the job description to support the company's revenue goals. This role requires a self-starter with a strategic mindset, a growth-driven approach, and the ability to thrive while managing various projects simultaneously. Main Responsibilities
- Identify and build strong relationships with prospective clients, expanding the company's client base
- Define and coordinate joint campaigns and events with partners both in-person and virtual in alignment with marketing initiatives
- Define and implement marketing best practices while exploring innovative approaches to market the company
- Identify, prioritize, and attend conferences, tradeshows and partner-specific events to promote OQC's products as well as partnership opportunities
- Develop and execute multichannel marketing campaigns (paid media, email, social, content, events) to drive awareness and engagement.
- Develop and maintain marketing materials related to main products
- Grow and leverage professional network for growth potential
- Gather and analyze information to identify new markets, potential clients, and demand for products and services
- Conduct market and trend research, sales forecasting, and strategic planning to assess and ensure the sale and profitability of OQC's products
- Conduct pricing research to ensure competitive product and service pricing
- Collaborate in the development of new products
- Regularly monitor and analyze campaign performance
Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, marketing or related (master's degree a plus)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in an investment-related field
- Proven experience in developing and executing multichannel marketing campaigns
- Expertise in lead generation and nurturing, to move from prospect status to closed client
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze campaign performance for adjustments
- Knowledge of the institutional asset owner and consultant marketplace a plus
- Knowledge of the insurance industry a plus
Compensation structure
- Part base salary, part revenue participation
Hybrid Schedule:
- This role will go into the office 4 days a week and work remotely 1 day
