General Summary The Vice President/General Manager for the IMS SBU will lead a strategically critical portfolio encompassing program and construction management, environmental remediation, base operations support, and security services. The successful candidate will have full P&L responsibility and will lead strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the market presence, enhancing operational excellence, and driving financial growth. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this role requires collaborative leadership to align closely with the company's strategic goals and high-value market offerings. Responsibilities Oversee strategic and operational leadership across the IMS business unit, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic plan and overall corporate objectives.
Lead and drive the execution of IMS strategic initiatives, emphasizing higher-margin services and solutions such as program and construction management and environmental remediation.
Manage comprehensive P&L responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, ensuring profitable growth and achievement of financial targets.
Possess a deep base of existing relationships that will support strategic growth within the strategic business unit.
Develop and maintain deep customer relationships with existing customers, enhancing customer intimacy and satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for expanded services.
Provide leadership and oversight of operations, ensuring compliance with all contract requirements, regulatory standards, and quality expectations across all IMS projects.
Provide regular communication and reporting to executive leadership on business performance, growth strategies, and operational issues.
Collaborate closely with other business units and corporate functions to support cross-selling opportunities and integrated service delivery.
Represent the company externally to stakeholders, including clients, partners, and governmental entities, reinforcing the company's market position and brand.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
15+ years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 7 years of direct P&L responsibility.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a proven track record of delivering results, with geography and culturally diverse teams.
Demonstrated experience leading program/construction management, environmental remediation, or related operational units serving federal, state, or international agencies.
Proven track record in growing businesses/organizations and successfully developing and executing strategic plans.
Strong understanding of government contracting processes, compliance standards, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with senior executives, clients, governmental representatives, and internal teams.
Ability and willingness to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, including hazardous and austere environments.
Ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances and pass comprehensive background checks.
Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred)
Experience managing operations in challenging international and austere environments (preferred).
Direct experience with NAVFAC, NAVSYS, USACE, or relevant government organizations and federal-civilian agencies (preferred).
Direct field level leadership experience that delivers predictable results tied to the strategic business lines (program and construction management and/or environmental remediation -preferred)
