Vice President Finance

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure the financial alignment, strategy & vision of the company
• Act as the SME in presenting financial information to the BoD
• Provide leadership in strategic planning & budgeting for the company
• Create internal financial policies & programs as necessary
• Lead the FP&A function & oversee accounting support functions
• Oversee budgeting & forecasting, financial & management accounting, cash planning & accounting, & internal control policies
• Manage cash runway projections
• Manage finance team members, including Controller
• Partner closely with the Corporate Affairs, Program Management and C-suite

Job Requirements:

• BS in finance or economics, or similar - MBA highly preferred
• 10+ years of Sr. finance-related experience in biotech - 5+ years of public experience
• Experience preparing presentations & data for BoD & road shows
• Direct managerial/leadership experience
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills along
• Demonstrated ability to influence and "sell" ideas & company objectives
