Vice President / Director - Investment Banking & Restructuring
We are seeking a driven professional with a college degree (MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred) and 5-8+ years of experience in investment banking, restructuring, or private equity to join a growing team. This is a fully in-office opportunity that requires a degree of travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee engagement work plans, including timelines, due diligence, and transaction marketing materials.
- Build detailed financial models, cash flow forecasts (13/26-week), and bankruptcy-related schedules.
- Prepare and present client deliverables, such as assessment reports, status updates, and pitchbooks.
- Manage client relationships, attend meetings, and contact targeted investors, lenders, and purchasers.
- Lead industry research and marketing initiatives to identify new opportunities and referral sources.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff (Associates, Senior Associates) while ensuring top-quality execution.
Qualifications:
- MBA with a minimum of 8 years Investment Banking / Restructuring / Private Equity experience
- Strong knowledge of capital markets, valuations, and transaction/restructuring strategies.
- Series 79 and 63 licenses required; Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor or Certification in Distressed Business Valuation preferred.
- Proven ability to manage engagements and foster professional development in a team setting.
